In today's project of the increasingly competitive world market, employers are looking to recruit the ideal candidate that meets or exceeds all criteria of the list wish. The competition is stiff, so that, in order to present themselves in the most positive light possible, you must come from the dugout with your best Blazing for resin. My 20 + years in the sector of employment seen waves with different characteristics companies look for in new offers perspective. However, there are some key features which remain standard. In order to unload your desired position, I believe that there are 6 skills every all must have:
1. trade-nobody knows who is better than you. The ability to market yourself is one of the best ways to land the first interview, and then position. You are good; you know what you can do. In particular, are connected with the post project and each company search function, and when you speak with the appointing authority, pro trade will accept these features and benefits of the company. This will set you apart from mainstream interviewers. However, if you can't articulate this during the interview, blend in with everyone else.
2. sales-many people think sales and marketing are the same thing. Not so much. Sales is a side of a good marketing strategy. You "market" themselves to get a direct interview. After this run, you must sell yourself. You can do this by submitting a good sales pitch (why you guy/GAL for the job) and support it with facts from the previous job performance (i.e. creating and implementing new marketing plan, which led to a 20% increase in sales).
3. research-every project there requires you to make some kind of research. Research on the definition, why doesn't the previous program for sale; to determine which products are the first sellers and why; for the collection of a list of potential suppliers of the services, your company requires.
4. Communication-need I say more? In order to do your job effectively, you must be able to speak and write well. Companies hire people who adeptly can express their thoughts in both verbal and written. Employers is not the time to teach this skill, so that you have it or you don't.
5. Interpersonal-lets face it, each working environment have their articles. Each consists of a variety of personalities, so that they can communicate easily with people from different backgrounds and walks of life is an asset of paramount importance. This skill is particularly useful in a supervisory role.
6. Technological-in today's labour market, most if not all job openings require some technological know-how. Computer literacy is required and can run other office machinery and equipment is an invaluable tool, particularly in the small office environment. One of the ways to assess the company's tech knowledge is to research, where they are posted to open his work. If the company's main focus is the Internet posting (i.e. LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Monster, etc.), this is a good indicator that the company tech knowledge is of a high level.
